Cool Coast Dark Colourway Limited Edition

Very few of these made in Simon's lovely Liberty Tana Lawn. He was nominated for a British design award for this print. Do you think he knows I am proud of him.... Blue colour way sold out long ago but we had just a small amount of the dark colourway. Planning to put them on Not on The High Street this weekend. Only approx 20 of each left.

Caxton London

Hello to another of our lovely stockists Caxton in 14a Temple Fortune Parade, Finchley Road &

Surfacing

Just about surfacing after the after math of Top Drawer. Looking to my right at a very large pile of tea towels & aprons to go to Vinegar Hill Stores who will also be selling Live Life accessories. 

 

 They have been selling our stationery since we launched 1 year ago.

Just love their website. I wanted ours to look this aged but lost the vote!

We got back at 1am this morning just about managing to keep our eyes home on the journey back form Top Drawer. Took about 2 hours just to get out of London!! Delighted to bring back lots of orders form new & existing Lovehart stockists. Lovely Weekend in London

Such a great weekend & honored to be Godparents for our lovely friends Emma & Mark. A very creative day with so much creative effort from Emma Mark & all their fantastically talented friends. Liberty prints were of course out in force. Food was mouthwatering & would sooooooo recommend Neel Family Kitchen.
Just managed to finish a silver necklace the day before we left for the no 1 girl using precious metal clay & little vintage metal printers blocks I bought from Ebay. I hope she likes it.

Narborough Hall

One of lovely stockists Narborough Hall recently won Independent Retailer of the Year 2011 for Midlands & the North. 3 miles from M1 Junction 21, just off the B4114 in Narborough. Just sending their latest order out tomorrow.We are very proud to have such great retailers stocking Lovehart in our first year!

Feathered Friends

Just a little tweet to show Simons fabulous new range of bird cards 'Feathered Friends'. Just finished today & not yet on the web site. Very proud of him....but don't tell him it may go to his head!

A slightly new size for us 12cm x 17cm. Simon was a junior twitcher & member of the RSPB & started his interest in art by drawing birds. A lovely full circle for him to produce these which bridge the gap between an art card a greetings card with a little educational value on the back with some info about each bird. Being printed this week & launched at Top Drawer next weekend!!!!Furry friends next perhaps....

Delighted to get a mention in the Top Drawer show magazine Trend Direction pages for our 'More Hands' tea towel!!! Just sent 2 of these off in the post for customers today & packed some off to The Cherry Tree  in London East Finchley.

Top Drawer London Olympia fast approaching & so much to do which explains my lack of blog posts. Great to get a little mention on the web site. Come & see us stand E86 11 -13 Sep, we hope to have 2 new ranges as well as our lovely new wash bags.

Can't get enough of that Scrufty Stuff

Cookie modeling the collar that started it all, that we were given by Joy Flowers 1 week before we saw her, that set into motion an unstoppable chain of events resulting in our lives revolving around this naughty puppy! I think there was some kind of magic in this collar which made us find her!

This weekend she is having a kind of christening wearing a bespoke Liberty collar again from the lovely Joy Flowers at Scrufts. Our friend Emma's daughter Mauve is Godmother. Emma heads up the print team at Liberty, the collar is a suprise, hope she likes it....Photos of this to follow.

Holidays Viva Espagna!

Great Competition

A competition to win some fantastic source books with a few words about my favourite print:-
My Mothers Horrockses housecoat stands out amongst all my magpies collection of prints. A housecoat which was always treasured without knowing it's pedigree then my neighbor here in deepest darkest Devon saw it hanging in my studio and a conversation evolved that her Mother Daphne Razzel/Patten had been a designer with Horrockses. Having trained in Fashion myself it was fascinating to hear about her Mothers time. This print and indeed the memory of trying it on as a child inspired me to follow a career in Fashion. Lot's of repairs in my Mothers hand & somehow I think it still holds her shape. Still inspires me today. If any one knows who the yellow print on my cushions is by please let me know. My husband brought this reminant into the fold when we met & I duly whizzed up on my trusty Bernina. x

Good Bye Accessories

I was worrying about storage but the mountain of accessories that engulfs my studio is flying out to new homes like an out going tide. Off they go this afternoon to 2 of our favorite shops, 'Pink & Brown' & 'Inspired Buys' in Totnes. This only means the new wave of stock we order has to be a Tsunami...but where to put it, could I get rid of Simon? He takes up rather a lot of space!
